Case Study of Denver Harbor Clinic



Rockwell Fund's investment in the local network of community-based clinics serving uninsured and underinsured patients is twofold. We support the Harris County Healthcare Alliance's $12 million dollar campaign to expand and strengthen the primary care safety net system of Harris County. This includes our participation in the Community Clinics Funders Collaborative. Rockwell Fund also builds the capacity of individual community clinics through sustained operating grants and by attracting additional support for clinic expansions.

Denver Harbor Clinic is an example of a community health center benefitting from Rockwell Fund's cooperative philanthropy and ability to leverage local dollars with those of a national funder. Our collaboration with Denver Harbor Clinic began in 2003. Read more (PDF).
